Sangsoo is a seasoned engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. He holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and brings deep expertise in AI, machine learning, embedded systems, and mobile software.

He is the VP of Infotainment Software at Rivian & Volkswagen Technologies where he oversees all facets of infotainment software development, including platform architecture, application development, and EdgeAI model training and integration. Previously he was Engineering Director of Google Core Data where he managed DevAI within Gemini and created over $500 million in annual savings. Overall, he had a long 18 year track record of success at Google, which includes co-founding Google Assistant on Mobile.
