Salle Yoo

Salle Yoo is an investor and advisor to early stage companies with a focus on women led entities. Previously, she was Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Uber Technologies, Inc. As the first General Counsel and attorney, she built the legal team to over 200 members by end of 2017. She was part of the executive team that grew Uber from 11 cities and 4 countries in 2011 to over 200 cities and 40 countries by the time she left in 2017. She assisted in raising over $6.5 billion in venture capital for the company.

She is a thought leader and advisor to CEOs on scaling business lines and teams, from Series B to public company listing. Sustained track record in fundraising, opening markets, fueling international growth, innovating client service models and streamlining operations. Currently serves as a director with experience in hospitality, B2B and B2C technology platforms, telecommunications and cryptocurrency. Salle was previously a Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP.
